Two things:
.2) I think the commenter above me might actually be Sean Combs. I haven’t seen that aggressive of a self-promotion campaign since he dropped the “P” from his Diddy.HiPlainsDrifter

david1david: I can’t. I don’t trust modner country singers who don’t wear cowboy hats.

DOTMIG: Well, I’m experiencing technical difficulties with Da Superfans right now, so you might be in after all.
Ty: There was a time in my life when all the music I bought was on cassette singles, which is an awful idea because after one song, you had to flip the tape, generally just to get an instrumental version. But the best cassette single I ever had was Queen’s “We Are the Champions” with “We Will Rock You” on the b-side.I’m fairly certain this was the precursor to jock jams.

HiPlains-
Creative. If we combine your track list with the parody songs I posted the other day, we could have a two disc set… and make millions! OK hundreds. Fine, we may be able to hand it to some friends.
Nice Post – Enjoy the “Big Game” – KP

1294698584_m1.jpgBig Sweet Beat
Alarming opening with some mob shouting about spending money but chills to a sweet beat and rich bass line with a smooth vocal rap over the top – he’s got the right voice – the girls are hitting cool harmonies in the background and this sounds BIG.

Funky guitar holds it together with some nice Nile Rodgers like licks in there. These guys will make it….(with the right video!)

I am not a fan of the chanting at the beginning but the rap is pretty decent as well as the female vocals. I am always a sucker for that Herbie Hancock popping sound used throughout here. You guys have your production down pretty well also. I would have liked to hear a tighter “thump” in the drums.

Comes and Comes and Goes
Hmmm…interesting. Hiphop flavor mixes with unrelenting vocals. The guitar work around 1:30 that sings back to the vocals is amazing, but hidden back in the mix. The vocals sit so high that its difficult to appreciate the wah-wah guitars that so nicely balance out the electronic elements.

Female vocals are soothing. Great voice there. I have no idea why this is in dance….but could totally see it used as a film/TV track.

Catchy dance track, subtle beat and cool vocals. Guitar is a nice touch and mix sounds very professiona
Hello
Spending money? Yeah, that subby gets me swinging! Male vocalist have nice and pleasant voice that is or going to be very successfull! It’s familiar to me!
Well, i liked the song, all the vocals are great, just you know that you could do a better intro. When I heard the intro I had a thin ”this is going to be a shity song” – but you dissapointed me, the song is a hit, could go on MTV! Nice lyrics

February 25th, 2007 I love this site!
There’s so much variety, originality, and talent. This track isn’t my cup of tea, but I appreciate all the effort, and the humour, that went in to it.
Very Nice female backing vocals… very slick harmony, sounds super hot!

Bump da bump. (mo money, mo problems)
Ha-ha-ha. I love funky songs about joyful poverty. The bass in the verse is SO funky. I like the breaks/ vocal flow through. The digital chorus babes are awesome. This song has a lot of great elements, there are like four hooks that I’ll probably have stuck in my head next time I reach for my wallet. Thank you.

DOTMIG ON GARAGE BAND

NEW TECHNO TRACK BY DOTMIG

23 hours ago · 2 votes so far · you voted for this

As a result of some very enthusiastic reviews from GarageBand.com members, “”Take your chances”" will be Track of the Day at GarageBand.com. For 24 hours on Saturday, the 24th of February, 2007 (PST) “”Take your chances”" will be featured on GarageBand.com’s Techno front page

DOTMIG JOINED GARAGE-BAND-RECORDS ON FEBRUARY 18th & IS SO HAPPY HE DID!!! This Technorati has a European fill, coming from the U.S. It’s quite unique, in the delivery of the arrangement. With a D2 reverb in a brit accent sends it overseas to steam up the already heated techno market. “Take your chances” explains the artist optimism

This is a track with an upbeat tempo, that will have your adrenaline pumping right off the drum snare intro. It feels like friday night has just started, that has you calling your friends up, to meet at a raging house party. You’ll find the girls dancing on the bar. It’s a classic party tune, that feels like an animal house sequel.

Matt Maddox (SnAtCh) Review on DOTMIG

February 11, 2007 by dotmig1

Got to hear your tunes tonight. BRILLIANT!! Great stuff, lots of originality.Very upbeat. Every track is FANTASTIC, but my personal favorite is “She’s Lying”. The vocals on that track reminded me of Sting at times, and at other times, Peter Gabriel. The music is reminiscent of the old J. Giles Band from back in the day. “Dive Bar” is another favorite. It is rare that harmonica is used well in this genre of music, but you guys pulled it off very well. I LIKE IT!!! For those of you who are reading this, I encourage you to support this band. This is good stuff! Thanks for exposing me to your music guys, and gals. Keep me updated on your future efforts. Your friend, fan, and fellow musician, Matt Maddox(SnAtCh)

SUPER BOWL XXXX COMMERCIAL

February 1, 2007 by dotmig1

Hoboken Beer & Soda Outlet is the distributor that supplies it all. There commercials are entertaining to watch, at a low budget cost create. DOTMIG uses his friends & all the props he can dig up for you to get a good laugh out of as well. The talk of the Super Bowl are the commercials right? The ridiculous price that corporations have to pay. This tailgate commercial will show you why, everybody get’s trashed by game time & miss every commercial for bathroom runs. I say blog it, youtube, google it or call DOTMIG after you watch his Super bowl tailgate commercial by DOTMIG.
